Man with world's longest fingernails gets them cut.

The person with the Guinness world record for the longest fingernails on a single hand can move more freely now.

Shridhar Chillal of India had the fingernails on his left hand cut, shown in a video posted by Guinness World Records, courtesy of "Ripley's Believe It or Not!"

The video says the 82-year-old had the fingernails cut after 66 years of growing them.

The video shows an electric tool sawing off the fingernails.

In 2014, his thumb's fingernail was more than 6 feet long and his nails had a combined length of nearly 30 feet, according to Guinness.

The remnants are being featured in a Ripley's exhibit in New York.
