Wizkid and Chris Brown: top photos of the two artistes
Wizkid
and Chris Brown have known each other for several years now, and the
two of them have quite a lot of photos together. Today, we want to share
some of the most important pictures of these two artistes and tell you
the story of their friendship.

In case you have not been following either of the artistes too closely, you might not know that the two of them have been friends for a while. It all started a while back, in 2012 to be exact, when Wizkid met Chris Brown for the first time in Lagos.
The
meeting that happened on 23 of December 2012 turned out to be a fateful
one, as in the span of just two days, the two musicians hanged out
together, performed Azonto live on stage, and Chris Brown followed
Wizkid on Instagram. The last event might not seem all that important,
but when you think about it, it must have been the first step in their
professional and personal relationship.
Three
months later, Chris Brown and Wizkid performed in Ghana together in
March 2013. After their performance, the artistes shared a friendly
embrace on stage, as you can see in the picture above.
In
June 2014, Wizkid flew to Los Angeles. While the musician was there, he
posted some pictures from a recording studio that hinted at some new
music coming out. Even though it is a bit blurry, this picture of
Wizkid, Chris Brown and Tyga at the studio has more talent in it than
anything you have ever seen.
2015
was also rather eventful for Wizkid and Chris Brown, as the two
recorded a song together called African Bad Girl and performed it in
South Africa. The same year, Wizkid shared that he had a FaceTime
session with Chris Brown to wish him happy birthday. Their friendship is
truly adorable :)

In 2016, several big things happened. First, Chris Brown, being a talented artiste that he is, painted Wizkid and posted it to his Instagram.
Second,
he announced that Wizkid was going to accompany him on his European
tour. During one of the performances, Chris called our Starboy his
brother and Africa’s finest.
Last,
but certainly not least, ‘Shabba’ by Wizkid ft. Chris Brown, Trey Songz
and French Montana dropped on July 1, 2016. It was before Wizkid
released his collab single ‘Come Closer’ with Drake, so it was a major
point in Wizkid’s career.
Since
2016, the two artistes have not appeared together in photos, at least
to our knowledge. In 2017, Wizkid finally released the song he recorded
with Chris Brown back in 2015, only this time it was called ‘African Bad
Gyal’. Other than that, the duo seems to be no more, to our dismay,
even though they are still following each other on Instagram.
All that said, both musicians are quite busy at the moment. Chris is riding around the USA on his Heartbreak On A Full Moon Tour, while Wizkid is working on new music and performing at various concerts across the world. Nevertheless, we hope that the friendship between these two talented people is still alive, just hidden away from the public.
That is all we can tell (and show) you about the friendship between Chris Brown and Wizkid. Who knows, maybe someday, we will see and hear them again as a duo, as they make some truly great stuff together.
